Asynchronous Learning

Asynchronous learning is a type of learning where students learn at their own pace, without constant real-time interactions with a teacher. This type of learning is typically involving a course or program with a teacher, even if the teacher is not present in real-time. Self-taught programs, such as tutorials or learning software, are not considered asynchronous as they often determine what students will complete without formal guidance. Asynchronous learning offers several benefits, including flexibility, self-paced learning, review opportunities, and skills development. Flexibility allows students to work on their studies between other obligations, while self-paced learning allows them to fully grasp new concepts and familiarize themselves with key lessons.
