MARCH 1 2024 TASOK TALK – The American School of Kinshasa

MARCH 1 2024 TASOK TALK

Message from the Director:

Happy March! As we step into this new month, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your unwavering dedication to our school community during these past few weeks.

March brings with it a flurry of activities on campus, alongside a special occasion – International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8th. It’s a time to honor and recognize the invaluable contributions of women around the world.

This Women’s Day, let’s take a moment to celebrate the remarkable women in our lives – the mothers, daughters, teachers, and colleagues who inspire us every day with their strength, resilience, and compassion.

Amidst the celebrations, I’d like to recognize our IB DP students as they prepare to take on the upcoming Mock Exams. This period marks a crucial phase in your preparation for the final examinations in April/May. Make the most of this opportunity to assess your progress, identify areas for improvement, and refine your study strategies.

In addition to exam preparation, our campus is buzzing with various activities and events. From sports tournaments to Art Exhibitions, theater performances, and celebrations of learning – there’s something for everyone to participate in and enjoy. I encourage all families to get involved and make the most of the vibrant atmosphere on campus.

Here’s to a month filled with opportunities for growth, learning, celebration, and memorable experiences.

Yours in Education,

Dan Mullen – TASOK Director
