Biography

Hannah believes that education is not just about strong academics, but that it also must foster children’s wellbeing and develop global citizens. As a parent of two children at TASOK, she is invested in the success of the school and her goal is that students experience the best of two countries- the DR Congo and the United States. Her husband was born and raised in Kinshasa and they moved back from the US five years ago. Hannah served as the Chair of the TASOK Parent Teacher Committee for the 22/23 school year before joining the Board. This increased her understanding of the school and reinforced her belief that parents are an integral part of a school community.  Professionally, she holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Arizona with experience at the intersection of public health and early childhood development and program evaluation.  Having worked in dynamic and collaborative spaces before she understands the importance of representing the greater community and highlighting diverse viewpoints in her role as Vice President.
